Chaya’s tip: We are often asked how often these need to be replaced. The time varies based on these things– 1) How finely do you grind your flour? The courser your grind, the longer they will last. 2) How frequently do you use your hand-crank grain mill? Many people choose an electric grain mill for weekly use and reserve this grain mill for nut butters or emergency use. The decision is up to you–but weekly use at a fine setting should still give you years of use!
