God never meant us to live this way, I’m convinced. There are people who never see the light of day, never talk to a neighbor, never eat something out of the ground. They may never sit at the table for a meal, be asked how their day went by a loved one, or pet an animal. This is not normal.

The world is a precarious place, as you well know. Do you have what you need to protect and provide for your family and yourself if you experienced the natural disasters or financial crises that plague so much of the world? How affected would you be if the power grid went down? We share this small planet with many people who never thought it could happen in their neck of the woods. But it does every single day. The word “preparedness” is a vague one, but ultimately, we are referring to the ability to stay warm, dry, fed, and healthy while you wait for the world to look the way it should once again.
