This means that they stay in place better, leading to fewer (if any) failures! Properly used, with any standard Mason jar and metal screw band, these reusable lids will last a lifetime. If you ever wear this lid out, we will replace it free! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The rubber gaskets get approximately 20 uses per gasket. If you are on a 1 year canning cycle, this means that your gasket will last a lifetime of canning!
